Auberge de Chatelus le Marcheix — Restaurant in Guéret

Extremely unfriendly lady running this place. I was there 20 mins before 1400 asking just for a glass of wine, no service at all, because she was too lazy to serve a customer ahead of her lunch break. Not recommended, don't go there, avoid this place. Rude mannerisms.

When I arrived 20 mins to 1400, the front door was wide open, 3 other customers sitting on the terrace with freshly filled glases of wine, eating baguette and smoking cigarettes (2 of them, not the cyclist). So much about "closing time well past" ... Just shut the door when you're closed or make the effort of putting up a sign - it's not that difficult, if you don't want people coming in. Also, the information you provide on Google maps clearly says 1400 as a closing time. Serving me 2cl of white wine while the other guys where still drinking theirs would have been a big deal, indeed.

So you're either too rich already or, as I said, just too lazy to care for customers, even if it's only for a little glass of wine. Or, as a third option, you're just one of those old racists having personal problems with people from either Austria or Germany (most likely).
