Auberge des Gros Manaux — Restaurant in Issoire

On the way down from Puy de Dome, we wanted to get some late lunch before continuing our hike. We sat where there were empty bottles from the last visitors. For about 15 minutes, no one came to us and we tried to get the servers attention but they simply wouldn’t look our direction. We moved to another table that was under the shade because it was extremely hot, and as soon as we moved, the table we previously sat on was cleaned. Even more, another couple sat on that table and immediately got their order taken. On the new table, we waited for another 15 minutes before someone came to us. They gave us the menu which only consisted of dessert and coffee, definitely not something we’re looking for. I don’t know if they don’t serve meals after 2 or not, but it would’ve been nice if they could have told us to begin with. Mind you the waitress saw us coming in, said nothing and just let us sit without taking our order. We were very interested in trying their food as the reviews are great, the pictures look good, and some guy on the other table had a meal that smelled amazing. The service was terrible, we were waiting to be served for 15 minutes a got assured 2 times within that period that "just 2 minutes".
