It was our second visit. ||This review is full of superlatives because the restaurant deserves them. ||Marie at the front of house is charming and extremely helpful. Her husband the chef is a magician. ||The food is quite spectacular and today we had the menu du jour for 22 Euros. |We had a wonderful tapenade Followed by an amuse bouche of a pork terrine with a slightly curried and mango sauce. Brilliant!||For the starter we had a warm terrine of fish and prawns which was a real surprise in a good way. ||We could have had gizzards and lardons as an option. ||We then had a fabulous fillet of fish with an amazing sauce and a little mashed potato, mashed gourd and another root vegetable that I did not recognise but was really tasty. ||There as also a pair of chicken legs in an equally divine sauce as an option, which my wife had and she said was fab. ||The dessert was 3 sheep’s cheeses with a little cherry jam.
