I visited Chez Alain in 2019 and 2022. Like posterity would have it, everything was veering on perfect. We had each a bottle of champagne and rouge. I ordered the Andouillette 5A and my partner ordered a steak (300g) - both of which were great. As we skipped lunch and starters, we asked Alain if he could offer us a savoury side-dish (which didn't appear on the menu). To our amazement, in came a plate of pate/bread and of sprat/baked potatoes, both of which were excellent as intermission. We ended off each with the spectacular Kouign Amaan with caramel ice cream - it didn't disappoint. We will come back most definitely, even to greet Alain.

I followed google reviews and walked 2 km to the restaurant. The boss can speak English and helped me ordered something typical here. A French cheese salad, a French sausage plate, a wine and a beer, all delicious and costs 36 Euros. Satisfied for my last dinner in France. Recommended if you’re in the neighborhood.

Very lovely and cozy restaurant. The food is straightforward and delicious. The selection of drinks is wonderful. The prices are very decent. The attention from workers is great. The tables, kitchen and toilets are clean. If you are looking for delicious french food in this area, this is the place to be!
