Pedra Alta — Restaurant in L'Haÿ-les-Roses

Extraordinary warm trip back in time to a good old restaurant service with side tables, wine chiller leg, table cloths, bread and butter already waiting for you. Waiting staff is well trained and you can feel and see years and years of their classical restaurant service including caring huge service platters and trays on the left shoulder, just like on a cruise ship or in the old restaurant. I thought it is not existing anymore. When a waiter took a cover in front of me because i was dining alone. It is very often forgotten nowadays. Another waitress brought me a spare fork IN A NAPKIN when mine felt down. NOT IN HANDS as usual, but in a napkin, like the book says. An immediate reaction of waiters with full understanding of what to do. Never walking empty handed. They X-ray the tables. Serving tables even if they didn't take this order. Working as one organism or orchestra. Clearing tables ONTO THE TRAYS even when guests are gone. Never putting trays on the table. And NO, there is NO WIFI. The food was in fact delicious, and the quantity was enough. However, service was bellow what we expected. Waiters took way too long to take our orders, even after we had called for different waiters (to which some made it clear to us they were busier with other tasks and never cared for calling another colleague). After a long wait, our food came well cooked (when we had asked for rare). Très mauvaise expérience+++

De passage à Orly nous avons fait l’erreur de dîner dans ce semblant de restaurant…

Nous avons attendu 1h15 avant d’être installés à notre table … l’ambiance y est extrêmement bruyante et stressante. Nous étions tassés et sans cesse bousculés!

Nous avons encore attendu 20min avant de passer commande et 30min avant d’être servi! Une côte de bœuf, un plat de brochette et des moules…

La côte de bœuf demandée bleue est arrivée trop cuite ! les moules sont certes en grande quantité mais non lavées, cassées et mal cuites bref le tier du plat ne pouvait être consommé.. quand à la brochette demandée à point est arrivé bleue ++ Celle ci étant pour un enfant nous avons demandé de la remettre en cuisson. 20min plus tard toujours pas le plat de notre fils !! Nous avons du aller le chercher et nous avons récupéré du charbon!!! C’était immangeable !

Le service y est exécrable et désagréable. Après tout vu l’ambiance qui règne dans ce restaurant. Cela peut éventuellement se comprendre…

Pour finir, au bout de 30min d’attente de l’addition nous avons du aller la chercher et l’hôtesse nous à littéralement réprimandé !

Bref, au bout de 4h de perdues nous avons réalisé que nous avons littéralement gâché notre soirée et très mal mangé. C’était notre première tentative et ce sera dans tous les cas la dernière!!

En aucun cas nous ne renouvellerons l’expérience!
