Restaurant Le Point de Vue — Restaurant in La Trinité

Called three times to make and ensure a reservation at 7 PM for 6. When we arrived, they made us wait in typical Martinique fashion. Just assumed that this restaurant was different as the google reviews are high and it was highly recommended by locals. We were also given 2 menus for 6 people due to a lack of menus in the restaurant. 1/5 in the beginning.

But then, the waitress showed us great attention and friendliness. On top of that, the drinks came in a very timely manner. The live music played (reggae vibe) was superb and not perfect volume for dining. My food was unbelievably good and came about an hour after sitting (on the quicker side for this island I have found). The coq au rhum was the best dish I’ve had on this island. The rest of my family also enjoyed this restaurant. Honestly, the whole experience after the dismal beginning was perfect. I am glad we came here for our last night in Martinique!

If not for our experience in the beginning (which seems to have only happened to us and not any other guests) this would be a clear 5/5. Highly...

This is one of the best restaurants I have visited, not just in Martinique but of the 28 countries I have been to...superb food, super friendly and efficient staff, the attention paid to infants and young children was very, very good. One very nice effect is a very fine mist of water sprayed frequently and automatically around the outdoors eating area to keep you cool...very nice washrooms (clean and tidy), I highly recommend this restaurant...once again, absolutely...

The view, as it is monikered, is absolutely breathtaking. Moreover, the food and service were great. We dined on a three course lunch while we heard waves crashing in the background, plus palm trees and a well manicured lawn in the background. There was also a nearby swing for young kids on the grounds. Note: this restaurant like many other Martinique restaurants was only opened...
