This truly is a super cosy and nice place to sit and relax for a real apero. The owners give you a warm welcome and the charcuterie and cheese platters have a unique variety of local options. We had the cheese, with of course some chèvre and cow, but the homemade fraise coulis with pepper and the Miel with a touch of Chataigne are delicious.

The pannacotta with lemon and verveine is also a big recommendation!

The café gourmands was that good that I can not show you the entire plate, the Fruit fruit the Maison were already gone. The chocolat with pear and apple is a very surprising...

Nous avons passé un super moment dans cet établissement. Stéphane et Séverine nous ont très gentiment accueilli. L’accueil est chaleureux et l’endroit est très joliment décoré. On s’y sent tout de suite bien. Concernant la cuisine, les planches sont faites avec des produits locaux et maison. C’est un point plus qu’appréciable. Ils mettent tout leur cœur pour satisfaire leurs clients et c’est très appréciable. Les goûts sont originaux et les saveurs se mélangent parfaitement comme la confiture maison de fraise avec sa pointe de poivre, et la salade de fruits avec des touches personnelles. On a adoré. Zonder meer een zalige plek! Met Belgische kost is zeker niets mis, maar wij trekken niet naar de Ardêche om friet/biefstuk, mosselen of stoverij te eten :-). Heerlijk lokaal eten hier, streek-eten en streek-drinken, met liefde en kunde door de gastvrouw zelf bereid, vriendelijke én vlotte bediening door de gastheer, alles piekfijn verzorgd (leuk servies enzo), en dat alles in een supercharmante setting. De kaart is beperkt, gelukkig maar zou ik zeggen, want anders dreigt er keuzestress. Wij namen met z'n drieën elk een verschillende schotel en dessert en het was allemaal even lekker. Een absolute aanrader. La Stévenière kwam 100% tegemoet aan wat ik verwacht te vinden in de Ardêche. Geloof me, zo'n eetplekjes zijn er niet veel en moeten...
