Restaurant Brioude — Restaurant in Largentière

It is honestly incredible that this level of cuisine is available for that low of a price. If you like good, french cuisine, this is a must-visit during your trip to the Ardeche.

The website and the photo's don't really do the place justice. The restaurant and it's location and decorum really surprised us (in the good way).

The staff was attentive, although we had many different people serve us. This is fine ofcourse, but we felt like some were more enthousiastic than others. Also, not all dishes were presented. Please note that this is only a minor gripe, the staff were very kind, quick and helpful!

As for the food: the chefs at Brioude are incredible. All of the dishes we had were complex, and they had that savoury French touch that you always try to emulate in your kitchen when it's Christmas time. And for a price like this (at the time of our review, it was something like 36 euros for entree, plat, desert) you ate doing yourself a disservice if you go...

Enchanting environment. Very professional personnel, at every level, from beginning to end. Very satisfying food, amuse-bouche, starter and main course and very good wine suggestion. I dare say that dessert was a bit disappointing in comparison (still good though). The only thing I would suggest to consider is the acoustic of the room: the noise level was a problem for our old ears. We were in another part of the restaurant last year, where this was not a problem. All in all: a VERY good...

Super restaurant gastronomique. Niché dans un écrin de verdure, le chef saura vous ravir.

La cuisine mériterait certainement une étoile car elle est pour moi au niveau des quelques restaurants étoilés dans le département. L avantage c'est que le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Ex : les 4 plats avec fromage et dessert pour a peine plus de 50€, nous avons été agréablement surpris.

L accueil est top avec une prise en compte des besoins. Ayant simplement précisé que je n aimais pas le poisson celui ci a été remplacé sans que je le demande par une excellente volaille !

Le personnel de service est au petit soin tout cela dans une ambiance simple et détendue.

Si vous ne connaissez pas et êtes de passage dans le coin, c est sans doute LA bonne adresse.
