Aroy Dee — Restaurant in Les Sables-d'Olonne

The worst Thai food that I have ever eaten.

I must admit, I wasn’t expecting more, when after 5 min 3 dishes were ready. The 6 spring rolls were ok from taste, but tiny (like a finger) and therefore totally overpriced for 6,20 Euro.

But the Pad Thai with chicken ( Pat Thai Poulet) was not tasty at all. Boring, not enough fish sauce, just watery white noodles with zucchini.

And the Sate Noodles with chicken ( Nouille sate poulet) is also something, you should eat somewhere else. Or put spaghetti into a pan and stir with curry paste and add 5 chunks of chicken and little carrot - then you can eat similar stuff to what „Aroy dee“ cooks.

Nous avons dîné dans ce petit restaurant, en hesitant un peu à cause des mauvais avis. Nous sommes heureux d'avoir suivi notre instinct. La nourriture y est authentique, on sent que c'est fait maison. On a vraiment l'impression de manger comme à la maison, avec des saveurs parfois déconcertantes, mais c'est ce qui fait tout l'intérêt d'aller dans un restaurant proposant de la nourriture d'un pays étranger.
