DO NOT EAT HERE OR SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. I had a very disturbing and scary experience at this restaurant, when my friend and I noticed and item on the bill for food we had not eaten, which we were charged for we explained to the owner that we did not believe we should pay for it. The restaurant was closing so it was only my friend and I there at the time along with the staff and the owner of the restaurant. After going back and fourth about this matter with the owner we decided to just pay it as it was simply impossible at this point to get through to him as he was extremely rude and arrogant towards us, mainly because we were tourists as well he had no respect for us and couldnât be bothered to reason with us even though my friend was fluent in French as she grew up in this small town. Instead of resolving the issue in a professional manner, the male owner became physically aggressive toward me. He forcefully grabbed both of my wrists and held them tightly for an extended period of time. His intention was definitely to hurt me as he hurt my wrists a lot. As a woman, this behaviour from a man is extremely intimidating and unacceptable. What should have been a simple discussion about a billing error escalated into a situation where I felt physically threatened and unsafe. Donât support abusive male owned and run businesses. Woman deserve to feel safe and not have to experience situations like this when going out to eat dinner while...
Read morePossibly the worst restaurant with the most arrogant manageress I have ever encountered. As a family we ordered 4 savoyarde burgers. The order arrived 3-5 mins later, which should have aroused suspicion given how busy the restaurant was. Three of the burgers were stone cold (clearly zero health management in the 'kitchen'). We kindly sent them back and recieved 3 further burgers (which were dumped on our table without any apology). When we opened them up to check to see if they were cooked (not something you should have to do in a 1/2 decent a restaurant) we found they were missing several ingredients, e.g.bacon and cheese. We reluctantly sent them back again. We finally received the correct burgers (and by now my daughter had finished her meal) and ate them. When we finished our meal I asked the manageress (in a friendly tone) why she hadn't at least discounted one of the items (as a gesture of goodwill) I recieved a very terse response that we had had our meals replaced twice and I should be grateful for that as the restaurant was very busy. I also got a strong impression that being British did not help my cause with her. I would therefore strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant if you value your health....and blood pressure...it may look busy from the outside, but don't be fooled...there is clearly zero client care here (and possibly even less so...
