We walked in the rain for 2 miles because we heard this place was amazing, and it did not disappoint! We tried the risotto parma, the lasagna, and the truffle pizza. The artisanal pizza maker is from Sicily, and the dough had a great âchewâ to it. The lasagna had deep flavors, and you could taste the beef throughout every bite. Often times the noodle and sauce is all you can taste. This lasagna was rich and flavorful. The risotto was light and perfectly creamy. We also ordered the burrata on arugula, which had a very strong citrus taste. It was different than what I was expecting, but a perfect light addition to start our meal. We finished with three desserts, the chocolate mousse torte (not on the menu), the hazelnut dessert, and the vanilla gelato with salted caramel (the winner!). The servers were so friendly and helpful, especially since we didnât speak Français. The restaurant got REALLY busy, and even though the servers were actively (and quickly) attending to everyone, we saw the guests looked relaxed, happy, and everyone was having a wonderful evening dinner. We like to try different places on our travels, but we may have to visit this little gem again on this trip! At least we ordered an extra pizza to take away! Oh! We arrived at 7.15 wth a reservation and were seated outside in a empty terrace even though the restaurant was half empty inside at the time. Our server was very pleasant and helpful but as the restaurant became busier it was difficult to get service as she seemed to be the only one servicing our area. Le plus choquant a été le sujet des boissons. Je m'explique, le serveur nous demande si nous voulons de l'eau en plus de nos verres de vin, il nous propose carafe ou "minérale". N'appréciant guÚre l'eau du robinet, nous demandons une eau minérale, il nous demande alors "plate ou pétillante", nous répondons plate.
Les plats arrivent et il nous donne nos verres de vin déjà remplis (trÚs peu rempli d'ailleurs, économies, économies), impossible de savoir si le vin dedans est celui commandé..., et une bouteille d'eau sur laquelle n'apparait aucune mention (pas de détails de sa composition, source, etc...). Seule indication, c'est une eau filtrée mise dans une bouteille indiquant "pétillante 77". Je lui en fait la remarque, d'autant que le bouchon est simplement vissé sans sertissage.
Il reconnait alors que c'est la mĂȘme que celle en carafe Ă une diffĂ©rence prĂȘt, elle est filtrĂ©e et rĂ©frigĂ©rĂ©e, et que dĂ©sormais, ils n'ont plus d'eau rĂ©ellement minĂ©rale.
AprĂšs l'avoir terminĂ©e, nous redemandons une carafe d'eau, pourquoi payer alors que ce sont grosso modo les mĂȘmes.
CÎté plats: la garniture des pizzas ont baissé en quantité, et les pates et le risotto étaient trÚs mal assaisonnés, notamment le risotto butternut.
Il nous ramĂšne le mĂȘme genre de bouteille mais avec la mention "plate 77" cette fois ci. Lors de l'addition, les 2 bouteilles d'eau du robinet apparaissent sur la note (1⏠chaque)...
Ce n'est pas pour le prix, mais je trouve cette pratique, Ă proprement scandaleuse et trompeuse, tout comme celle des verres de vin, qui devrait ĂȘtre servi Ă table directement depuis la bouteille.
