We walked in (party of 6) the woman came to seat us obviously stressed by her attitude even tho it was only 8.30. Said she had no tables and was quite rude about it, once she realised we English her temper seemed to change and she was really off then like we were a burden. There was a table free but she claimed it wasn’t suitable for us (rather odd considering 5 people just sat there with a baby) once finally seated it took forever to get served and the food was sooooo long it was unreal and not that good. A very good restaurant with a range of food. Me and my son had the burgers and my wife and daughters had savery (ham and cheese) pancakes.all were well cooked. We had icecream for dessert. The restaurant also does pizzas which are very good as well as steaks and mussels. It is a good place for families due to the range of different dishes available. We had excellent food and service with a smile last night, they were extremely busy but nothing was too much trouble on a very warm evening when other restaurants crumble into chaos. We have been here several times over the years and never been disappointed but this was the first time with our well behaved Greyhound and he was welcomed inside and immediately given a bowl of cold water which being a Greyhound never got touched.
