La Brasserie des Châteaux — Restaurant in Lesparre-Médoc

We stopped in for lunch and got the Mussels and Fries...When it arrived it was extremely overcooked and had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. My French is not very strong but I explained via Google translate that I normally love mussels but these have no flavor. I then asked for the bill and not only did my girlfriend and I get charged for the full amount we also got charged and additional cost to share the fish we did not eat!

The server told me to go talk to the chef about the problem but I am sorry....No matter what country your in if a guest in your restaurant does not eat the food you should not have to pay...

Don’t be fooled by the unassuming look of this place — you can get an excellent meal here at a reasonable price. The chef does hearty, traditional French cuisine, and the mark–ups on local wines are not excessive (an added bonus). When I first moved to the area, I ate the daily lunch menu every weekday, and I was amazed by the variety. It is getting harder and harder to find a dependable bistrot which serves fresh produce, but this place is solid....

Restaurant beaucoup trop cher pour ce que l’on mange ! Entrée : 3 mini tranches de saucisson ou 1 demi mini avocat ! Plat pas assez copieux non plus, accueil serveuse 00/20 tout ça pour 22 euros !!! Quelle honte ! Je n y retournerai plus jamais,mr ou madame et non je ne me suis pas trompé de restaurant c est bien le votre, j’ai pris un coca qui a été servi dans un petit verre avec une bouteille plastique 🤔, trois petits morceaux de saucisson en entrée ( très limite) la bavette frites en plat (très bonne d ailleur) un tout petit morceau de fromage en dessert(très limite aussi)et un café tout ça pour 22 ou 24 euros ce qui est beaucoup trop cher pour la quantité sachant qu on avait encore faim en partant 🤔 ce n’est pas une critique mais c’est surtout pour que vous vous améliorez car a ce prix la on doit être satisfait...
