Update: updated it to one star because the idiotic reaction instead of an APOLOGY. You should apologise!!!!!!!!! This is not the first time people got sick and commented on your lack of hygiene. You have NOT heard the last of this. I'm still extremely sick and completely dehydrated because of the constant diarrhea. I might have to go to the hospital. APOLOGISE!! Also, no one will ever notice the cake is false, because no one in their right mind will ever try to taste it. Everything looked so bad and tasted so bad. Back at our hotel the owner shook her head when hearing the name "Le Restaureau". Just fix your problems!!!

Two stars because the waiter was very friendly. The food... Well, I have severe diarrhea today and I feel terribly sick. Something I sadly expected. The buffet is a health hazard. The food tastes awkward and most do not smell fresh. But hey, maybe it's something French, so lets just eat. I did not try the shrimps for this reason.

The meat was hard to cut, even though I ordered medium rare. But tasted good, the sauce also. The fries were very oily, but I liked it.

The desserts... Also at the buffet. There's a pie right out in the open. The fridge does not look hygienic and the yoghurt tasted iffy. I put it away after one bite. My spouse had a pineapple pie and it smelled rotten. I had another cake and it was very dry and also had a weird smell. They say in other reviews they make everything fresh every morning, but I do not believe that at all.

The wall next to us had food stains on it. A guy came from the back and he had a very dirty top on and he smelled like he hadn't showered for weeks. I could smell him from 10 meters away! I hoped he wasn't the cook, but unfortunately. I'm a very curious person but when we left, I did not look towards the kitchen. Some things you shouldn't know.

I feel bad for leaving a bad review, because the staff was so friendly. But they should fix their hygiene as soon as possible. This is not okay. I had to run to the toilet 5 times while writing this review. Seeing the other reviews, I will probably get a snarky reply. But please, this is on you and you should feel ashamed. Does France not have...

This is, without any doubt, the best steak I’ve ever had! The staff were really friendly and funny. I think we were the only foreigners in there the night we went in, out of season, but we felt really comfortable and relaxed. The manager (I think) spoke really good English and was also happy to help with my French attempts! Loved it!! We will definitely be returning as I can’t stop thinking about the steak 😂. I’ve told my sons and now they’re all desperate to go there too!! See...

Accueil...disons abrupt. Le buffet (à volonté) est infect mais est ce frais? L'andouillette grossière, à peine cuite et caoutchouteuse. Seuls les yaourts et la badoit convenaient ( le pain, excellent) Les toilettes sales et très vétustes (lunette cassée) absolument pas adaptées aux handicapés (plusieurs marches avant d'y accéder + une dernière au bas de la cuvette). Dernier détail, vue sur la cuisine juste avant d'y acceder. Le charme et les odeurs des pissotieres de notre enfance.

Non! Je n'ai pas l'habitude de siffler pour avoir une serveuse à mes côtés. Que la nourriture soit de mauvaise qualité (la vue du buffet ne peut garantir une réalisation au jour le jour) je veux bien le pardonner, tout le monde ne s'appelle pas Bocuse ou Gagnaire avec 3 étoiles affichées. En revanche il est inacceptable d'offrir des toilettes dans un tel état de vétusté et de saleté. Je ne nie pas vos efforts pour améliorer le service mais rien ne le laisse entrevoir. Un bon accueil commence toujours par des toilettes...
