Very impressive lunch at The Belvedere. Friendly, attentive and courteous service. We took the 2 specials which were both excellent. Generous portions of lovely home cooked food. Comprehensive menu and great value for money. Service of starters and main courses and drinks without any delay.

The inside of the restaurant has a cosy dining room with large and small tables. Very well laid out. We didn't fancy the front section conservatory style dining area but that's probably nice in the summer. There is also a lounge coffee area and a bar, and also a small terrace to the side and outside tables out front.

Paul and Jon have worked very hard to bring a lovely warm ambience to the restaurant since they took over. From the genuine friendly bilingual welcome to the attentive service Paul is the perfect host. The menu which changes with the seasons always has sufficient choice to leave you with the dilemma of what to choose. Went to Le Belvédère today for lunch and had a great time. We were welcomed and offered the option of sitting inside or in the veranda and chose the latter. Really glad we did as the views are amazing!
