Le Pavé d'Auge — Restaurant in Lisieux

We Spent 3 Weeks traveling across France in May 2025 eating at many different establishments. We happened to stumble upon this restaurant on our short overnight stay in Beuvron-en-auge. It was either this or the Pizza restaurant across the street and we went with the fancier option not knowing it was a Michelin restaurant. Immediately upon entering we were pleasantly surprised by the quaint atmosphere in the building and were seated right away by the Chefs wife & Co-Owner. The Many courses of Food came out quickly and was very high quality. Cocktails were a little average but the wine choices and quality fantastic. The Maitre' D was a stern yet friendly man and was dealing with training a younger staff but did a great job and was extremely attentive. As in many of these restaurants the Chef came to say Hi after the meal and was very nice in our brief conversation. He had also helped direct me to the restroom halfway though the lengthy meal, what kinda guy does that! It was our best meal experience in our 3 week trip. Keep it going, er hope to visit...

Gastronomically Delicious truly lives up to its name. From start to finish, every bite was packed with flavor, creativity, and care. The menu offers something for everyone – including a kid-friendly selection that was a huge hit with our children. It’s rare to find a place where both adults and kids walk away equally impressed, but this restaurant nailed it.

The food was exceptional. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious.

The service was just as impressive – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and they treated our kids with the same care and attention, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Set in a beautiful village, this restaurant is a true gem. We’re already looking forward to coming back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone – whether you’re a foodie, a family, or just someone who loves great food and great...

I recently dined at Gourmet Restaurant Le Pave d”Auge, and I must say, the experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and elegant. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making me feel truly valued.
