L'Esperluette — Restaurant in Loches

Stopped by for a late lunch on a Tuesday party of 6 including 2 crabby kids. The staff was very accommodating with our lack of ability to communicate in French, (spoke good english), and our children being very tired and hungry. The atmosphere in the trogledite restaurant was a delight, very warm and enjoyable.

The food was exceptional. We are on a European tour visiting much of France, Belgium, and others - we are at 2 weeks of touring and eating at a variety establishments from fine to humble restaurants - objectively this may have been some of best assortment of dishes we have enjoyed thus far.

Highly recommend a visit, just a short drive down the road from the Chateau Du Close Luce (Devince chateau), quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking you...

We stopped here en route from Amboise along the Velo-a-Loire as it was a sunny day and we were passing around lunchtime. Lovely little courtyard with a handful of tables. Très belle découverte ! La cuisine est savoureuse et on ressent que tout y est fait avec passion. Chaque produit est de qualité (même le pain ce qui devient de plus en plus rare dans les restaurants ..) on sent que tous les fournisseurs ont été sélectionnés avec soin et locaux, nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! La carte des boissons est bien variés et originale Également ce qui est génial c’est que le menu qui change tous les jours, est publié la veille sur les réseaux 👍
