El Rancho Larzac — Restaurant in Lodève

We came across this place by chance a couple of years ago and were so excited to go back for a full meal when we were in the area again. So glad we made the trip down this year. This restaurant is not to be missed!! The location is sublime, the staff so friendly, and of course the food simply delicious. We had the "formule burger" made from locally sourced meat from the farm itself, served with gourmet chips. The home-made pastis was excellent as well! Also love the eco friendly nature of the place, as well as the choice of music & overall ambiance....

Super country restaurant. Great steaks and Burgers from the local farm. Service and staff are superb.. Friendly and helpful, and efficient. Ambience is also excellent. Tables not too close, and with good views of the countryside. Location is great, on the plateau between St Pierre de la Fage and Navacelles village. We've seen horses being trained in nearby fields, and also all sorts of owls being shown in the fields...

They shut in the winter, but Spring, Summer and Autumn are great. Lots of nearby country...

J' ai été décu, on m'en avait tellement parlé en bien, j y suis allé tout début septembre, donc fin de saison, mais quand même. Une viande Angus décevante, viande que j'avais demandé bleue en cuisson, elle était cuite à point, donc trop cuite pour moi et y avait un peu trop de gras, donc perte sur mon morceau. Les chaises, sont inconfortables et le service long, trop long. Cependant, des points positif, fait maison, frites et mayo, (le prix si tous s'est bien passé) le cadre est sympa et le site aussi. Dommage qu'il n y est pas de bière locale. Ne ne met pas en doute la qualité de ce petit restaurant, mais moi ce soir là, Je n'ai pas été enchanté, je n y retournerais pas. Attention au succes, il est difficilement gagné, mais il peut très vite perdu, il peu monter à la tête,...
