Le Mas de Riri — Restaurant in Lodève

What to say about le Mas de Riri. I was quite looking forward to vising here because I'd heard good reviews.

On arrival the lady on reception was very nice, helpful and informative. The male waiting staff however seemed to treat the establishment as an opportunity to leer over the balcony shouting to friends and socialise. Our waiter wasn't particularly friendly.

The food....I chose the perfect eggs for starter and fish of the day for main. The perfect eggs (not my idea of perfect eggs) was practically a raw egg served on a bed of what looked like tasteless beige porridge... It turned my stomach. The fish main was better, yet when it came out it was cold. My partner's food was cold too.Both me and my partner questioned why the cauliflower had been dyed two different colours and thought the food had been placed on the plate by a child.

We decided not to stay for a dessert.

Did not feel like a guest at this establishment, and made to feel more like a paying incovencience to the staff. Would not return...

😊: Beautiful setting. Comfortable and quiet room with all we needed. . The terrace in front of our room had a lovely view of the lake. The breakfast was very nice and the views from the breakfast room are superb . Swimming in the lake.was also great. The staff were all helpful and friendly. . I would definitely recommend the hotel and I would love to return there one day. Beautiful place to stay. Also some great walks near the hotel .. 😢: We liked it all but there were just 2 small things that we would have liked to know in advance : be careful to book the restaurant in advance if you want to eat there. They did provide a snack which was satiisfactory and it is easy to drive to the next village but perhaps worth mentioning. We were there on jazz night and if you wanted just a drink to take away you were forced to pay to enter so if you don't want the jazz get your drinks in advance ( fortunately we had a few drinks in the...

Nous ne reviendrons plus jamais au mas de riri. Nous avions réservé en juillet pour le 10 août 2024 en précisant que nous avions un camping car de + de 7 mètres. Notre arrivée: mauvaise surprise : déjà : personne pour nous accueillir et nous montrer l'endroit de notre emplacement. Sans trop connaitre : Un jeune saisonnier nous a montré l'emplacement très très dangereux pour le cc. A notre grande surprise de voir cet emplacement qui n'était pas approprié pour ce camping car de + 7m. Pas de responsable, pas de patron, le saisonnier pas au courant de notre arrivé en avait rien faire de notre arrivée. Grosse galère au n°22 impossible de passer sous un arbuste qui nous a rayé le toit!!! ensuite ne pouvant rester à cet emplacement: la peur de ma vie lorsque mon mari à du tant bien que mal essayé de se sortir de cet endroit avec le vide les pneus fumaient cause patinage , impossible de faire demi tour pour sortir!! la roue avant gauche c'est mise hors sol tellement qu'il était impossible de manœuvré!!! j'ai vu que le cc allait se coucher au sol !BRAVO BRAVO pour la conscience professionnel et le non respect du saisonnier qui en avait rien à faire il n'attendait qu'une seule chose : de pouvoir rejoindre ses clients ou potes à la buvette. Je me vois dans l'obligation d' en avertir mes confrères camping cariste. Pas d'accueil, le patron faisait la sieste!!! ne pas déranger!!!! l'endroit non conforme pour un gabarit de +7m terrain dénivelé , le vide pas de place pour faire demi tour!!! pourtant nous avions bien précisé les mesures du véhicule. Pour la sécurité j'informe les campings cariste de cet accueil vraiment désagréable SANS RESPONSABILITE DU RESPONSABLE A NOTRE ARRIVEE QUE L ON A PAS VU!!!!Je ne recommanderais pas ce lieu pourtant joli mais mal géré au niveau des emplacements cc. ADIEU LE MAS DE RIRI. Je reviens sur la réponse du responsable du camping : VOS EQUIPES!!!!!!!!!!(ON A VU PERSONNE!!!!VENIR EN AIDE!!!! :QU'UN JEUNE SAISONNIER D UNE VINGTAINE D ANNEE D UNE AUCUNE FORMATION ET EN AVAIT RIEN A FAIRE DE LA SITUATION.
