Le Vivier was recommended to us by our local host and delivered an excellent lunch in an amazing location. The food was superb, portions very generous and the prices readonable. The service from the more mature staff was efficient and friendly. However, the restaurant very nearly lost our custom before we had even been seated. on arrival we were politely told that a table would be available in about 30 minutes and specifically (I even queried this) asked to wait at the entrance to the restaurant. Despite this courteous instruction from a more senior member of staff, the junior waitress (the one with the consistently long face) at the time was obviously having a bad day (week/year/life) and was repeatedly rude to us and other customers; this included telling us that 'we were in her way and should leave the restaurant' - despite the clear instruction from her senior colleague. We could easily have done what she requested, which would have been our loss and the restaurant's. As it was, we waited as originally requested and were soon seated inside where we were looked after wonderfully by the rest of the team. Thank you all! NOTE:...

We arrived around 1:15pm without reservation and received a friendly welcome. We were told that a table would be free after 40 minutes and could consume some drinks outside while waiting. The atmosphere remained relaxed and friendly throughout. At the planned time, a table became available. We ordered mussels, crab, fries and one child's meal. The seafood was tasty and fresh and we appreciated the meal. The view from the terrace over the ocean is great. The child meal was simplistic (fries and two sausages) : I would like to suggest offering a wider selection and healthier children's meals. Overall a good experience with correct price/value and a friendly reception...

Usually I don’t write reviews as I worked in the hospitality industry. But this one needs it.

We got in for some drinks and food. But changed our mind immediately as we got the WORST welcome ever. Rude service. Woman on her 40s, blonde ish, long straight hair was INCREDIBLY RUDE. We order a few drinks and we left the place in less than 10 minutes. Other servers were polite. You can serve the best food ever, but if service is bad no point in visiting the place. AVOID if you care about...

You're always nervous when going to a beach front restaurant serving typical Breton seafood (think mussels, oysters, shrimp, etc). Expectations for food and service are low, but views are what it's all about. In this case, the servers were delightful (it might be a different story come September 😉) and the moules were fantastic. The crevettes were slightly overcooked , but not much , and we ate them all. Definitely, a great option after a hike south along the (incredibly beautiful) Cîte Sauvage.

The best location on the wild coast of Quiberon for a break. Coffee, beer, ice cream and some home made puddings.Great view from the terrasse or indoor. Reservation strongly recommended of you want to eat. Unassuming seafood (prawns, crabs, oysters , mussels), very fresh and a very decent price. Home made classic desserts (chocolate mousse, flan...) Friendly staff, what else can you ask for? I will visit again...
