Fries were soggy. Also, we ordered a regular cookie and got a peanut one - thank God we weren't allergic; when we complained they shrugged their shoulders explaining they did not have control over the ordering kiosks...
EDIT AFTER MANAGEMENT REPLY
I'm sorry I did forget to mention that after complaining, we were offered to pick another dessert (which is obviously the least they could do) but their reply highlights the fundamental problem: my point is primarily that their careless attitude about consciously replacing a chocolate cookie with a peanut cookie without any mention to the customer is D.A.N.G.E.R.O.U.S.
The Burger King in our home town, a couple of years ago, served a bun that had sesame seeds but wasn't supposed to to someone who was allergic and that person died...
EDIT AFTER SECOND MANAGEMENT REPLY (TUESDAY 20 DEC)
You continue to be missing the point. Some people are so allergic to peanut that even bringing a peanut cookie to them can put their lives in danger. And not only do you bring such a cookie but you don't mention anything, increasing the risk that an allergic person also takes a bite. The right thing to do in your situation would be to remove chocolate cookies from the menu ordering system, and if that can't be done fast enough, not bring a peanut cookie to the table, but rather come to the customers and ask them if they're ok with a peanut cookie, or offer them a refund or another dessert.
With respect to your comments about the fact that we ate the rest of the peanut cookie: the one of us who had ordered the chocolate cookie and was given the peanut cookie is not allergic to peanuts but does not like them so it's entirely normal that we asked for a refund or replacement the other 3 of us like peanut, and you did not request the cookie back (which was missing one bite) so it made sense for us to eat it - it was going to be thrown away anyway and we do not like food being wasted our son, who luckily was not with us, is allergic to peanuts and his life would have been endangered by your attitude, which is why we're more sensitive than average to this - but we should not have to explain...
Read moreThis Sunday, December the 1st, I went to the Montbéliard Christmas market with friends. On our way back from the Christmas market, we stopped at Burger King in Lure. The customer service was great and our dear waiter Calvin was very helpful and friendly! As for value for money, it was also correct! There's nothing to say about the welcome in the Burger King restaurant in Lure. In addition, Calvin, our waiter, gave us good advice on the dishes. We all recommend the Burger King restaurant in Lure. This deserves a Five Star for...
