O'BRADY'S IRISH PUB — Restaurant in Marseille

Excellent pub! The best in town and even in the region. Real Irish pub full of sport shirts, but also provided with books, magazines and newspaper. They have a kitchen which is not so common in France, they offer good sandwiches and snacking, lasagna and delicious crisps. Staff are realllllllly nice, can't help loving them. Nice atmosphere, they broadcast rugby football, with real fans and nice gentle people. It s a family pub! Music is good too and people who come are really friendly. Everyone is welcome, even those coming from the big Island (joke) ;) Don't come here to fight, keep your words for the talking and teasing around the numerous beers and cocktails suggested. Myself and my father in law went over from Ireland for the French 6 nations game and heard about a pub called O'Malley's that was to be our first stop. We checked into our hotel and set off looking for O'Malleys. Came across O'Brady's and said we'd give it a try. We were lodged in there for about 4 hours before kick off. Great food and alcohol was mighty. Staff are brilliant craic and atmosphere was superb. After the game there was only one place we were headed afterwards 😆 . Alors je viens de manger et boire quelques vers ici il y a une semaine. Bon atmosphère, bonne bière et la nourriture pas mal aussi. Bien sûr, on n’a pas tout goûté mais avec un groupe de 8 on a testé quelques uns sur le menu assez limitant. Le fish & chips était bon mais ma portion était 25% plus petit que les autres. Peut-être parce qu’il y avait une confusion sur la commande. Apparement il y avait un problème de prendre plusieurs commandes depuis la même table. Après n’avoir pas reçu mon repas (10 minutes après les autres) j’ai du demander. C’était expliqué que c’était ma faute car je n’ai pas commandé avec le reste du groupe tous ensemble. Je ne crois pas. Je pense que ce sont des excuses d’un serveur qui a échoué un ordre et voulais « pas the buck » ou me rendre responsable de sa faute. Désolé mon amigo, ce n’est pas comme ça que tu gagnes des clients. Ou peut-être c’est comme ca les irlandaises gagnent des clients ? :-) Mais la nourriture était bonne comme la bière et l’atmosphère.
