Restaurant Le Nautilus Roissy — Restaurant in Meaux

This was our second time at this restaurant. The first time was very enjoyable, but this last time was a pathetic joke. The young lady who seated us was very nice and had very warm smile, our waitress however was very different. No presence what so ever. When we enquired as to what type of fish was on the menu she left and came back and just said "it's fish". The service was very poor and the food was dreadful. I had a steak which I had ordered medium rare and my wife had the duck which she had ordered medium. My steak arrived well done and my wife's duck was barely cooked inside. We tried to get the attention of a staff member but couldn't. I tried to carry on eating as we wanted to get an early start to the airport in the morning, but the steak was so overcooked I had to get up and go to find a manager. She agreed that the food was not what was ordered and offered to redo the meal. We declined the offer and asked for the bill. For the two inedible meals she took off 10%. The whole family are staying at Oceania roissy hotel just for a night before we go back to california and New York. We just came from lourdes, paris, Brittany and Normandy and Ibrahim from the front desk recommended this restaurant. We went to a lot of restaurant for three weeks and this seems to top them all. Good service from the crew and great food. Me and my sister had a rib eye steak and a pesto linguini and it's the best. My brother in law had a fish and chips and it's awesome. My father and mother had chicken pasta and tiger prawn with a coconut sauce risotto is Devine. The creme brulee with vanilla is superb and so the chocolate pondant and chocolate ice cream with a very nice chocalate flower decoration. Over all its excellent. Thank you from luxe...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was referred to this by the hotel I was staying at nearby and while the menu appear appealing, they would not seat me. I was traveling on my own and despite numerous tables, they did not seem to think that either I or my my money was worth their time. While that, in and of itself is pretty obnoxious, I am hopeful that it was not race-related. The hotel in which I was staying was surprised when I told them. It was clearly not a function of it being high-end as most individuals were mid-travel and wearing flannel and sneakers.
