Sure, we were not expecting much from this place going by the pictures but in reality, the reviews are way too kind. Strong smell of smoke when entering the room but not fresh smoke, the smell of build-up smoke from over the years. The bed was not that comfortable but the bedding, pillows and sheets I'm sure have been there for decades and i don't think they have ever heard of fabric softener?? Upon leaving we noticed that woollen bed throws were hanging out of the windows so one wonders if they are even washed? Place is in dire need of refurbishment and upgrade. Terrible use of space in the bathroom, room is big but shower is a tiny cubicle and a door that is smaller than shoulder witdth wide... (and I am just a 5,3 slim build girl). Ok for a one night stopover but I wouldn't want to stay there for longer than that. Can't speak for...

I stayed solo for one night in June during a 6 property road trip, so this review is relatively objective.||Easily found with parking directly off the road in front of the building.||Schoolboy french sufficed.||No reception until 1800, but a key box code supplied to gain earlier access to room.||Modern, simple/basic and clean sums up the property with surprisingly good quality bed linen and towels.||The 15 Euro 3 course dinner was a simple Table d’Hote and OK at the price.|Breakfast was a standard continental buffet.||Lovely views down the valley/mountains from the restaurant and presumably rooms at the...
