Positive: This is best described as a pub with rooms. We are talking rural France, here, so don't come expecting fancy accommodation. But if you're on the move, and looking for a place to rest your head, this fits the bill. We had a twin bedded room, separate w.c and bathroom en suite making life pretty easy. Loads of hot water and good pressure in the shower. The room was simple but clean and the bathroom and w.c. quite up to date. The public spaces are slightly old fashioned, but who spends time in the foyer? We had a good breakfast.. Negative: What is it about French hotel owners? We were booked for a Monday night, the owner's night off. So there was nobody at the hotel to welcome us, book us in, show the room. There is a code for the door, which we did not have but a really kind local resident made a phone call, got the code and we were in. Every one deserves a night off, but either shut the place or get someone to at least be there to let guests in. Arriving on a wet cool evening on a motorcycle after 250 miles at a shut, dark cold hotel is not a good way to start...

Positive: This was a lovely little place we came across while planning our route down to south France. Everything was lovely 😊 owner was friendly and instructions were clear as we arrived on a Sunday after noon so code for door given and we checked in ourselves. Lovely view of the market place. Slept well and breakfast was served when we were ready thank you 😊 All covid 19 advice adhered to well done 👍. Très mauvaise expérience pour ma part. Chambre sans chauffage. Chambre pas comme sur les photos... en tout cas pas celle que j'ai eu. Pas d'accès internet. La clé de la chambre est à la disponibilité de tout le monde... Je suis arrivé à 19h et reparti à 23h45 pour changer d'hôtel.... même pas un geste sur le prix, on m'as fait payer la nuit complète alors que je n'ai même pas dormi....
Bref, très mauvaise expérience pour moi.
Réponse à votre message : Merci de ne pas mentir... je ne vous ai pas appelé tard dans la nuit et vous ne m'avez rien dit pour le wifi. VOUS m'avez appelé à propos d'un repas et vous m'avez dit que si j'ai besoin de quelques choses, je pourrai vous contacter, je vous ai envoyé un SMS pour le WiFi 5min après votre appel et je n'ai pas eu de réponse.
Vous dites que j'ai eu une chambre triple ? J'aurai préféré avoir une chambre normal et avoir du chauffage et du WiFi. La chambre 7 n'était pas à 19° !
Je le redis... aucun geste commercial... oui c'était pas décision de partir mais j'avais besoin du WiFi pour travailler... et du chauffage pour dormir.
