Manjocarn Café — Restaurant in Montauban

I rarely leave reviews. But this place was exceptionally bad. If you wanna get a food poisoning, order tartar. The French fries were cooked in the oil with a terrible greasy aftertaste, it should be palm low quality or similar.

They DONT accept credit cards, and they forgot to warn us about it, so we had to drive to the atm and back for 40 mins with our newborn daughter (Sunday, everything is closed). When I asked for receipt they gave me this piece of paper, no wonder they don’t pay taxes and thus are not accepting cards. I’m calling tax service tomorrow and sanitary service to check this...

Really Great place and atmosphere. Food and drink is really great. You can reserve tables(as of 2025). Some tables overlook the river so if you have stuff by the waters ede you can keep an eye on it. It was busy with canoeists and road traffic but not so much that it was overcrowded. 3rd week of July there was always a table available between the hours of 11am and 1700. They're open later than 17:00 but we didn'tstay longer. Somtimes reserved tables cannot be promised. Its such a nice spot that some people don't move even when the table is reserved. But that's not to say you wont get a table. You will but just...

We stopped by when the rain was about to start. We ordered coffee and then realized that we only had cards, no cash. The bartender immediately offered it to us nevertheless, for free. It was very kind of him. The cafe is located between the river and the mountains, beautiful nature all around.
