Restaurant Hôtel Le Terminus — Restaurant in Montbard

On a long journey in motorhome we were pleased to find a les routiers restaurant just in time for lunch. When we enter an establishment we always try to offer a cheerful 'Bonjour' and a smile. Unfortunately this was not reciprocated by the 'patron' nor the waitress. From the other reviews we can only assume they were having a bad day. The meal, a menu du jour, was disappointing. The standard buffet, although limited, was pleasant enough, but the main course, entree, was poor. Chicken with carrots. The piece of chicken must have come from an anorexic fowl and it was roasted without any sauce or flavouring. The carrots were quite nice, but somehow a scrawny piece of chicken is not compensated for with simply a large pile of carrots. I know this is a budget meal, but we've had some excellent meals in les routiers restaurants before for the same price. We hope other customers arrive here on...

😊: It was traditional, so you accept the warts and all. We simply liked the local feel, and got what we expected. Food was very nice, fairly priced. Only issue was road facing room 2 meters away, and heavy night traffic from lorries, and we had windows open. Not a deal breaker, as would stay again, because it was traditional French, not some plastic internation hotel chain. The walk around the village, and along the river was great for our Dog, and us.. 😢: Fan in triple room so we could havve closed window..........no we did not ask for one, as...
