A super solid 5 stars on everything. We saw the restaurant whilst we were walking over the viaduct and thought we'd take a closer look and what a find it was. We've never been so happy to forget to pack sandwiches than we did on this day. The staff were amazing, very attentive and we weren't rushed. I would definitely recommend the Jack burger (double patty) our friend and her son would recommend the fish and chips and my wife, the vegetarian of the group had a choice of 4 items, she picked and adored the vegetable lasagne. Little annoyed at a previous post, if you have a problem with your meal tell them at the time instead of posting a bad review, at least give them a chance to rectify your problem at the time. We have been going to this lovely restaurant since it opened and before that Chez Joseph, never ever, ever had a bad meal, the steak has always been cooked perfect to what I ordered and all the other items on the menu are absolutely spot on, love it my type of food, and as for the staff they are really friendly including the chef when we see him. Désastreux. Aucun effort pour prendre en compte les allergies. Le tartare de bœuf ne peut pas être servi sans sauce car elle est déjà préparée à l’avance (l’une d’elles contient du poisson, auquel je suis allergique). J’ai demandé à remplacer les frites par de la ratatouille (souvent cuisinées dans la même friteuse que le poisson) : à 20h, il n’y en avait déjà plus, alors que c’est indiqué sur la carte.

J’ai donc pris une “assiette kebab – filet de poulet mariné” : c’était en réalité du kebab congelé qui baignait dans le gras. Quand j’ai demandé à changer de plat (en payant malgré tout celui-ci), on m’a tellement fait sentir que ça dérangeait que je n’ai pas osé insister. Le cuisinier s’est contredit en me disant tour à tour que c’était de l’aiguillette de poulet puis du filet de dinde… Bref, pas très crédible.

Nous avons ensuite voulu prendre un dessert, mais on nous a refusé le service sous prétexte que nous les “avions saoulés”. Je comprends que les allergies compliquent les choses, mais ce n’est pas une raison pour traiter les clients de cette façon.

Au final, mon chien a mangé ce “poulet/dinde/kebab”. Nous n’avons pas été facturés pour ce plat, mais j’aurais largement préféré payer deux plats corrects plutôt que d’en laisser un à mon chien et repartir le ventre vide, un dimanche soir où il n’y avait aucune autre alternative.
