I don’t know if we arrived at a bad time (it was around 17:00-17:30) but the service was terribly bad and slow considering there were a few visitors. We were not greeted at all, they didn’t bring us the menu. They were not coming to take a note, I had to go inside to ask them to come. Generally it felt like they didn’t want to work and we were not very welcomed. After taking a note (water and some oysters), they took 25 minutes to bring everything. They didn’t even bring water first. After losing the patience I told the waiter like come on we ordered 25 minutes ago and people who came after us were served almost immediately… Also the condition of the toilets leaves much to be desired. Bonjour Premier point : nous avions pris soins de réserver pour essayer d'avoir un bon accueil dans votre établissement . La table qui nous était destinée était a l'intérieur en salle panoramique , nous avons demandé de pouvoir déjeuner en terrasse étant donné qu'il faisait relativement beau . La personne qui s'est occupé de nous a été d'accord et nous a installé a l'ombre malgré notre demande de déjeuner au soleil car un petit air rafraichissait l'atmosphère . Refus catégorique de sa part nous prétextant que toutes les tables étaient réservées . Nous avons constaté que les personnes installées a ces dites tables n'avaient pas réservées et étaient toutes heureuses de pouvoir en bénéficier . Manque de délicatesse ....

Deuxième point : nous avons commandé un verre de vin blanc , une bière Alarik en 33 cl , 8 huitres pour ma femme (4+4) , 1 teille et une brasucade pour ma part . Tout nous a été emmené en même temps , nous disant que c'était comme cela que vous pratiquiez . Nous avons remarqué que le service sur les autres tables a été fait différemment (apéritif , entrée puis plat en suivant ) , en fait comme il se doit d'être fait .

Troisième point : si vous rajouter a notre menu 2 cafés , nous trouvons que l'addition 89.80 € et plus qu'exagérée Malheureusement , nous n'avons pas vérifié sur place en réglant , et je ne peux pas vous dire ou est l'erreur car je n'ai qu'une note globale sans détails

Quatrième point : nous avons acheté des produits Ostrealia que nous sommes nous même allé chercher dans le hall d'entrée de votre restaurant car ils étaient absent du comptoir ou nous avons réglé car votre personnel nous a dit que vous étiez en rupture de stock (????)

.Nous sommes venu au mois d'octobre dernier profiter de vos soins de massage ainsi que du restaurant "La FOLIE" , et avant de venir chez vous nous arrivions encore du Spa et avons fait des achats dans la boutique . Comprenez qu'un accueil de la sorte fera que c'était Surement la dernière fois que nous fréquentions vos établissements et que nous ne manquerons pas d'en faire la publicité autour de nous

I come from a place far away from fresh oysters. A place of smoked eel out of a polluted river that I wasn’t introduced to either as a kid.

St. Barth made and broke me: I used to try an oyster or maybe two - pretending to like the first and washing down the second with champagne.

However, these oysters were insane. I can still feel the touch of them on my tongue four days later. It really shows how important the freshness is.

I thank this place for making me love oysters and I blame it for ruining oysters anywhere else!

The Tiella was tasty and since I have no reference point the best I had. The crevettes delicious but clearly not cooked the same...

This place is just cool in every way. A small restaurant way way off the beaten path, sitting right at the edge of the saltwater lake or lagoon, with active harvesting right off the docks where most of the tables are. In fact, our table was on a dock and we could practically reach down and grab the food we were going to be eating. In fact the server told us they could only serve food that they had caught. And, the specialty of this restaurant is the oysters. So, two kinds of oysters were ordered, in addition to some fresh boiled shrimp and one of their octopus pies. Service was a little slow, but we didn’t mind too much as we just watched the water.

Very difficult to add anything more and different to the positive reviews other than to add another one. We were a table of four sitting outside on the terrace, enjoying the view, the salty air, and of course the excellent seafood. (With a bottle of the local Picpoul wine of course.) Pricing was good value, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was still buzzing even though this was October. Yes you need a car to get there but it is a pleasant drive too.
