Buffalo Grill Cucq — Restaurant in Montreuil-sur-Mer

We came here hoping for good food and a good time. The service man was kind but very stressed. We ordered and had to wait for about 50 minutes before we got our food. That wouldn’t be a problem if the food was good. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case here. It was like eating rubber. It tasted like nothing and it smelled like piss. The food was cold and relatively expensive. When we wanted to pay the machine failed 1 time. After that we tried again and the waiter said it was ok now. We thanked him en walked to our car. That’s when 2 guys from the restaurant walked over to us in a rush, only talking in French which we barely understand. They told us, really angry, that we had to pay and we had to come inside. We told him to wait a moment so we could check if we had paid. The money was off our bank account but the man got really angry and said it was our problem that he couldn’t help his customers now and that we were taking his time. We went inside so he could take a picture of our bank account and he started screaming at my autistic friend who was really overwhelmed afterwards. We will never come...

We visited on a busy sunday as a group of 9. The staff seated us all immediately which was impressive. Tables and toilets were clean and well arranged. Unfortunately service from that point on was pretty awful. We didn't get drinks for an hour. We were not brought bread or salad. Other tables were served their desert before our starter had arrived. We had to ask for cutlery. Parts of our order never turned up and other parts were wrong. Then when we were eating our mains their waitress brought us our bill which was quite rude! We didn't complain as we could see how busy things were and heard other guests were complaining. But I wish we had insisted on our order...

Perfect for tourists and kiddy families. A completely romanticised version of cowboys and indians' America. You are normally greeted with a little salad and luke-warm bread. Hmmm. Once the order has been made you'll get some popcorns to share while waiting for the food. The food is normally in huge quantities and extras (as chips, rice, potatos, ect.) are as much as you can eat. The presentation the main dishes are not completely stellar, quality of the food lags similar attention. Price tag acceptable, especially if you choose the menues.
