i have been told that french where rude and until today have never experienced it in real life until i visited this place!
a little restaurant having a sign with a menu with dessert and food, but while entering inside you are told that there is no food being served only drinks. served very unpolitely by a fuller blonde young lady (because there are 2) no menu is provided, charged 18 euros for 2 beers, and trust me i do not mind splurging a bit on a weekend get away! I found it a bit over the top especially when served without any kind of kindness i still ask for a second round and i ask what else is there and the prices, she advertises a beer that is nice too at 3.50 euros and after 30 Minutes when no order comes to the table, i politely call her over and ask what happend with my order, she advices that she is not on duty anymore and i should order at the bar! to my surprise this other waiter a bit more polite eager to help me speaks to me in spanish, luckily i understand tells me that inside is only for food drinks are outside. my advice, do not waste your time here, there is plenty more down the...
   Read moreOk, its a tale of two restaurants. We went on a sunday, they were able to offer us table outside, and said if we waited 40 mins we could have a table. We asked for drinks (we had children & elderly parents with us), and they said yes. And then ignored us and our attempts to get their attention for 30 minutes and i was close to walking out. 5 mins later, they brought drinks, and then said, what is your food order, and pointed at a QR code printed on the table. After that, it got better, they pulled it back, and we decided to try again midweek as the food really was great. When its busy, the staff can be rude and insolent and very dismissive. The term 'service' seems to be a loose concept. When its empty, they were attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The food is delicious, lovely ambiance. Jolie salle un peu rustique comme une taverne anglaise, toute en longueur avec aux extrĂ©mitĂ©s une belle cheminĂ©e devant laquelle se trouve un canapĂ© Chesterfield et de lâautre un agrĂ©able bar plus contemporain. Jolie dĂ©coration raccord avec le lieu. Belles tables et chaises confortables. Couverts simples. Niveau sonore faible Ă 21h le 3 juin avec quelques tables seulement.
Pour les jours de beau temps, situĂ©e devant la salle se trouve une grande terrasse au calme donnant sur la mer et dominant lâembouchure de la Canche. Parking Ă quelques dizaines de mĂštres de lâentrĂ©e du restaurant.
Service en salle professionnel, un brin impersonnel nĂ©anmoins . Un peu trop de zĂšle pour apporter voire vouloir encaisser lâaddition au dessert avant 21h et avant mĂȘme une Ă©ventuelle commande de thĂ© ou cafĂ© et alors quâil nây avait manifestement pas un autre service ce soir lĂ Ă la vue de la frĂ©quentation. Dommage. Cela Ă©tant dit, en saison ce restaurant a bien 2 services le premier sâachevant impĂ©rativement vers 21:30 pour une arrivĂ©e entre 19:00 et 19:30. RĂ©servation indispensable en pĂ©riode touristique.
Toilettes simples, murs de planches et propres en fin de service.

Bonne cuisine assez recherchĂ©e, bien servie avec une mention particuliĂšre sur la cuisson du poisson trĂšs rĂ©ussie. Bonne soirĂ©e dans lâensemble. Je reviendrai.

Sympathique chat qui se balade aux alentours et qui a pris son dĂźner de lâautre cĂŽtĂ© de la baie vitrĂ©e en mĂȘme temps que nous.
Plusieurs passages lâaprĂšs midi en terrasse extĂ©rieure vers lâheure du goĂ»ter montre la disponibilitĂ© alĂ©atoire des crĂȘpes mentionnĂ©es sur la carte. Selon les serveurs, lâimpossibilitĂ© de faire des crĂȘpes serait due au manque de personnel certains aprĂšs midi. Câest une dĂ©ception car on ne le sait quâen arrivant ce qui pousse Ă ne plus venir du tout si on a cette envie.

(++) Accras de poissons et son yaourt grec aux herbes (16âŹ). 5 gros accras savoureux. Bon plat.
(++) Ceviche de daurade, huile citronnĂ©e, pickles dâoignon rouge et choux fleur, grenade, nouilles aux lĂ©gumes (28âŹ). Bon et joli plat.
(+++) PavĂ© de lieu jaune, risotto au parmesan, fumet crĂ©meux au safran (26âŹ). Excellente cuisson du poisson. Risotto rĂ©ussi. TrĂšs bon plat.
(+) Soupe de fraises, infusion de poivre vert au parfum de citron vert, sorbet cactus, Ă©clats de meringue (10âŹ). Un peu simple et avec un goĂ»t finalement assez plat malgrĂ© lâintitulĂ© prometteur. Je doute aussi du sorbet cactus. Assez bon dessert.
