We went here due to the good review on Google, and when we got there, there was a long line. We weren't bothered by it, and we seated fairly quick. The food was good (at first, more to come on this), and the atmosphere was nice with live music. The wait was fairly long after placing our order, we were told to expect 45-60 minutes which turned to be about twice that long. However, we weren't phased because we're we on Holiday time. Once the food got to the table it was descent, not great, not terrible.

3 hours later.....wife is on the ground crying outside the ferry station due to stomach pains. The devil its self had shown it's face in the form of the feared double shot of food poisoning. Both ends were exploding. This went on for hours. I thought I was clear of the beast until.....5 hours later. Waiting to get on the plane the Tahiti, I suddenly became dizzy and nauseous. I knew I would soon face the same fate as my poor wife. This went on for hours at the airports and on the plane until we reached Hawaii. Agony is the only word I can summon to describe the experience that was cursed upon us. I personally don't blame the food, but the Citronade....don't test your fate and stick to canned soda or un opened...

I was really wanting to like this place with its food truck vibe, chef's character & location to fresh seafood. Well I guess you get what you pay for. After a 50 minute wait and paying first there was no sense of urgency to make our food & the place wasn't that busy. Nice shaded seated area aft of the kitchen with some of the chef's music playing... but disorder in the kitchen & not expediting food was an issue. We saw food sit for 25 minutes before being delivered on the kitchen counter. Bourdain would be disappointed. I hope it wasnt because we are Americans. We ordered politely 2 fish burgers & usually tip well but this was way below the mark. Fish was at least 4 days old. Rather go down to Tiahura (Chef Irene) for anything on the menu. The Wahoo plate was delicious with fresh clean flavors & worth the extra couple Francs &...

A cute little getaway that isn't a formal restaurant. The service was nice and friendly. The owner was chatty and hilarious. I had a BLT that was the best I have ever had. There are chickens that wander around for entertainment and lots of shade and we had a nice little breeze too. One member of the group had a wrap and it came with french fries and coleslaw I believe. Chloe loved that too. All in all a nice spot to eat if you don't want to hit a restaurant. As for parking, I would just park down the street in the public beach parking, which is a 2 minute walk. Otherwise parking is a bit hairy as there are large drains on either side of the road and not a lot of room to maneuver and the parking lot, located 50 feet away, can be super busy and hard to...

Wow!!!! Simply amazing food. We had the fish special (grilled fish in lemon sauce) and also the mi-cuit “half-cooked” fish (tuna). Both the main meals and the side dishes were incredibly tasty and plentiful (even the rice was special). The only downside was the wait time. It was busy when we arrived, so we knew to expect a delay. Drinks came fast but food took around an hour. There was a live singer performing which meant the wait didn’t feel long. If you’re in no rush, enjoy the atmosphere and get ready for some superb food - it really is worth any wait.

Very nice small trailer for "to-go" food and some tables in the back for the ones that want to stick around. There are no alcoholic drinks available but you may purchase some beers from the supermarket nearby and bring them along. For the budget travellers there are some good sandwich options but there are some interesting daily specials. If you don't have full board with your accomodatio then this is a real option for lunch at least. Don't come if you are in a hurry. Orders may take a while but it is worth it.
