If you’re staying in Carantec you just have to visit this wonderful place.
You can buy direct or sit for a menu degustation. There are no frills but (in my opinion) this is the perfect way to eat shellfish. Sat on metal tables next to oyster beds on the Baie de Morlaix with a bottle of something agreeable and some fresh shellfish (lobster, crab, prawns are all available amongst others) is a wonderful thing.
Les Viviers de Carantec also sells wine and we had a lovely bottle of Muscadet which was reasonably priced (ranging Euro15-20).

The family operating the place are also the fishermen & oyster producers, very welcoming and the service was fast; I did call ahead of time to place the order which I would recommend for anything that needs cooking.
