Well, it’s official—we’ve encountered the rudest man in France. I rarely swear, but if I could, I would.

The dining area was nearly empty when I sat at a table while my wife went to the bathroom. With no staff in sight, "Mr. Rude" (as I’ll call him) appeared and muttered something in French. I explained, "I’m waiting for my wife, she’s in the bathroom and will be back shortly." Mr. Rude just walked off, laughing. When my wife returned, he rudely told her, "You need to ask me before sitting down." She asked if there was a table for two available, and he simply pointed to where I was sitting before walking away again.

We both decided to leave—no one should treat customers that way, especially when we were planning to spend money there. As we exited, he loudly pointed out that the chairs weren’t straight at the table we’d been at.

This man has no business serving customers. Avoid this place at all costs and take your money somewhere you’ll be appreciated. It’s a shame there aren’t negative stars to rate our experience because that’s all this place deserves.

Horrible disgusting man, avoid or prepare to be...

The waiter should think about changing careers… my father and I decided to stop at this restaurant as we were walking by because they had a nice terrace. After sitting down getting the menus and choosing our meals the waiter took about 30 min to take our order because he decided to serve two large groups who arrived after us before us (mind you were only two). During that time he didn’t look at us, didn’t ask us if we wanted drinks and didn’t even bring water which usually comes automatically with the menus in France. When he finally came to take our orders with quite an attitude I mentioned I wanted fries with my meal because the bottom of the menu said “all meals come with fries or veggies”. He looked me straight in the eyes like I was a lunatic while enumerating reasons why my meal shouldn’t come with fries (spoiler alert, he never gave me fries and my dad ended up having to pay to get some). When we finally got our food after 50 min while looking at the large table who arrived after us already eating desert, the food wasn’t even that good. Je suis partagée entre deux sentiments étrange celui d'avoir du batailler ferme avec un cuisinier connu à Charroux pour sa violence verbale envers sont personnels et ses clients. Et malgré tout celui d'avoir manger une cuisine simple mais très bonne. Faites maison avec passion. Rapport qualité prix correct 1 adulte, deux adolescentes, deux enfants 6&8 ans 100€. Cette établissement ne fait pas de menu enfant comme ça vous le savez ! Je vous raconte après je ne fais pas de jugement c'est un constat ! Table réservée pour 12h30 prise de commande 13h45 avec une difficulté mes deux filles demande un steack/frites après négociation j'ai dû me déplacer pour expliquer au cuisiner que de faire deux assiettes steak/frites était plus rapide que de monté deux burger/frites que mes filles ne mangeront pas puisque qu'elle mange pas la garniture ni le pain ! Résultats une monté d'adrénaline et de testostérone pour au final avoir un steak frites facturé au prix d'un burger à 28€. Bref, je n'en fais pas une affaire d'état mais bon vous au moins maintenant vous savez !.... Sinon les trois employés au service et dernier le bar aussi qu'au garçon derrière la plonge je vous souhaite tout le meilleur pour la suite. Sachez que vous avez du mérite mais surtout des droits et pour les faire respecter il y a les prud'hommes et l'inspection du travail. En tout cas en 2025 avant et après on ne peut pas être maltraité de la sorte par un patron qui gère très mal ses émotions. A bon...
