Pendino — Restaurant in Nîmes

We stopped here whilst cycling along routes 50/54 from Avignon - it was lunchtime on a Tuesday and most other restaurants/cafes appeared to be closed on our maps app. However, we're so glad that they were, as this was a highlight! Friendly service, excellent, extensive menu, menu du jour available. The pizzas were huge and so tasty but plenty of other options other than pizza. Had a lovely lunch here, finished with an excellent Cafe du Gourmand - our first - coffee and selection of mini-desserts which were all lovely. Would highly recommend...

We’ve been staying in the area for about a week and have either been to Pendino or have wished we’d gone to Pendino every day we’ve been here. It’s fantastic for lunch or dinner, for dining in or for takeaway. The truffle burrata pizza is SO insanely good, but you won’t go wrong with any of the pizzas or dishes...

Nous y sommes allés 3x: La première , semaine de l’ouverture du resto: très belle déco (resto refait à neuf) super accueil, bonne cuisine, salle un peu bruyante car mal isolée (on entendait le voisin à l’étage jouer aux jeux vidéo!) la seconde cuisine moyenne, accueil et service moyens aussi… mais rien de catastrophique :) La troisième, accueil cette fois-ci très moyen, et pizzas très très décevantes, comme si les ingrédients étaient issus de mauvaises boîtes de conserve. Dommage elles sont belles visuellement, mais terriblement fades: Rien à vous avec notre première visite. Et on est passés d’un silence de cimetière à une musique beaucoup trop forte, on ne s’entendait plus parler à table … Bref, ça se dégrade … déjà. il manque pourtant pas grand chose!
