The setting is picturesque, with a relaxing riverside view that enhances the dining experience.

The food was excellent, local flavors with great attention to detail. the bread had cheese inside and was incredibly delicious. The wine selection was also good, complementing the meals perfectly. The desert was good only the cheese selection in comparison with the main food and starter was nothing special.

The owner and staff were easygoing and welcoming. He also let us enter with our dog.

What a fantastic place. I have eaten here twice over the past week and both times the food was excellent, classic French cuisine. I chose from the daily menu both times, which had been changed between visits, and for €24.90 the food was far beyond what I expected. The restaurant isn't fancy but the service is good and you get a lovely view of the river Loire if you get a table on the terrace. Berezina de la Saint Valentin.... L'emplacement est très chouette, et l'équipe plutôt sympa avait l'air complètement débordée : pas une carafe d'eau ou même une visite pendant 25mn une fois assis à une grande table partagée avec un autre couple. Oups. Mais j'avais réservé 1 table moi ! Pas 1/2 table. Le menu entrée/plat/dessert de la Saint Valentin était 50% plus cher qu'un jour "normal", pour une cuisine vraiment sans intérêt sans être désagréable. Ils n'avaient pas le Chablis 1er cru seulement le cru "normal" "qu'ils préfèrent" mais qui a été facturé au prix du 1er cru néanmoins. Oups. Erreur ? Mauvaise foi ? En tous cas on a omis de me le préciser. Et comme le reste du repas, il était vraiment terriblement fadasse. Enfin... fadasse... c'est là que les histoires se corsent un peu. Mon amie a commencé à se sentir mal quelques minutes après avoir mangé le tartare d'huitres et de saint jacques. Sans doute aime t'elle vivre dangereusement en choisissant un tartare de fruits de mer. Mais elle a néanmoins passé la nuit à vomir.
