Kimch'i — Restaurant in Narbonne

This is the second time I have visited this place and it doesn't disappoint!

The food is so fresh and so tasty. We visited at lunch and managed to book a table for that day but a few did just walk in from the street and managed to get a table.

The owner is a nice guy and makes sure everything is just right for you even with the language barrier he was determined to give us a great experience..I have seen remarks that he is slow however why rush when he's giving you a great experience!!

See the pictures for some of the food and just to point out if you don't like egg(I'm not keen but do like scrambled egg) this mixers with your food and because the bowl is ridiculously hot turns to scrambled egg so like egg fried rice..

The owner thought it was funny when I had 3 X saki so when we was paying he just smiled and gave me a free one! Oh happy days I walked out a little tipsy and especially after drinking Japanese beer too..

Here, restaurant Kimch’i, serves variety of authentic korean foods. I made an order ‘Menu Bibimbab’ with ‘Twigim’ as appitizer – these made me feel at home. The tables and chairs, spoon and chopsticks… even banchan(side dishes) and dolsot(bowl made of stone)! just amazing. these were not cheesy chinese items, they were actually from korea. wow. They prepared so many details to feel at real korean vibes. And most importantly, the food as just amazing. I was sceptical of the reviews. But wanted to try this restaurant for a long time, it normally needs to be booked well in advance, just showing up won't work! Well sit down with an open mind, it may not be the plushest dining experience, but it's all about the food which is sublime. It's a family operation and I enjoyed the finest duck I have ever eaten. The house wine was local well chosen and reasonable. I don't normally do dessert but as the earlier courses were so good I spoiled myself and was very glad I did!
