La Brasserie Le Smiley — Restaurant in Narbonne

Excellent little restaurant and the owner is most friendly. We cannot recommend Le smiley strongly enough. The food is excellent and freshly prepared, with most fresh produce grown by the owner/chef. Even our kids were catered for. :) We had a unique experience on the first night we arrived to the village. Kids were hungry and we thought that we could get something quick at Le smiley, however the kitchen was already closed. The owner then gave my husband some homegrown, yummy tomatoes, onions, pasta, cheese and bread and didn’t want to take any money for that! Amazing!! We’d give 10 ⭐️...

We arrived quite late without a reservation. We were told, in a very friendly way, that there would be a wait because they were very busy. There were only 2 people serving/cooking. We were given free beers whilst we waited, sitting under the most beautiful tree in a shaded area. One of the other diners, a friend of the restaurant, became our unofficial waiter and even went so far to guide us towards the perfect wine choice. All in all, we really enjoyed our evening, the excellent food, but most of all the warm welcome and unbelievably friendly...

A very friendly and accommodating host. Once we entered we immediately felt very welcome. The menu is small, but excellent. The dishes we ate (lamb chops and steak) were very delicious.
