Formule at €14.50 was about right for a good meal. The cod fillet was nice and white but slightly over cooked with a somewhat unidentifiable topping. Lovely chips! My wife had some ratatouille which had a good flavour but was a little crude in its preparation and too watery. The puddings were home made and very good. Starters ok but again prep was a bit crude, large pieces of tomato with no flavour and a lettuce stub in the salad. Could easily be very good with a bit more attention to detail. Really liked this place the steaks looked amazing . Foolishly I went for the pork and what I got was a rather dry piece of gammon and a loads of greasy chips - I had ordered salad.

My dessert was so good but my husband got a slab of apple pie that looked like it was bought from a supermarket.

There was a great red wine list and the ambience was really good. I will go back but I am going...

Habituée et locale : c'etait à mes yeux une valeur sûre pour manger une bonne viande mais ma dernière visite a été décevante : la côte de bœuf été pleine de nerfs : nous avons mangé que 2 morceaux sur 4: la serveuse a constaté ceci et était navrée : nous avons toutefois exprimé notre compréhension face à cela...ce n'était pas leur faute mais un retour au fournisseur serait bien pour la qualité de la viande ....) Cependant, aucun geste commercial de la part du restaurant n'a été fait !!! Même pas un café offert alors que le plat coûte 36 € !!! Et que nous n'avons ni renvoyé ni demandé un autre plat !!!
