Overall: hidden gem that deserves a Michelin star ⭐

Incredibly well prepared food, with a good mix of creative and more traditional recipes. We had a shrimp carpaccio with pistachio oil and vanilla, Escargot, Scallops with various herb gels (geranium?) and a good sauce, and octopus with a thai curry sauce. Everything was exceptionally good! Their cocktails were also great, and the wine they served was both interesting and perfectly fit our dishes. It's clear the chef loves cooking, and it really shows in the food. Gourmet quality at a reasonable price.

We don't speak french (though we are working on it!) but it wasn't a problem at all. The waitresses had a solid grasp of English, so there was little language barrier to speak of. They were attentive and friendly too!

Concept de plats à partager très original (pas de menu) qui permet de pouvoir goûter plusieurs plats dans un esprit convivial Produits de très bonne qualité Plats absolument savoureux, un vrai plaisir pour les papilles et découvrir des saveurs qui pour certaines font voyager, ou pour d'autres, tout simplement ressentir du pur plaisir gustatif de la cuisine méditerranéenne.

Un accueil chaleureux, un service soigné et convivial, dans une ambiance hors du temps à la touche originale et vintage, le tout dans un superbe cadre intimiste et ressourçant, au bord du canal du midi.

Nous regrettons cependant : l'absence de plats mieux adaptés aux enfants (hormis la barquette de frites) certains plats au rapport quantité/prix trop élevés (mais incroyablement délicieux) -l'absence de présentation et d'agréments d'une coupe glacée, composée uniquement de 2 boules de glace et sa liqueur, tarifée 12 euros.

Cela restera pour nous une sortie restaurant que l'on aura grand plaisir à s'accorder, de façon très occasionnelle toutefois, bien que nous aimerions pouvoir nous rendre d'avantage dans ce superbe établissement de notre village (compter entre 50-60€ par adulte, avec boissons).

Lovely position on the canal. Small plate "tapas style" eating. Each dish is really special in its own right and mostly French. This is not Spanish tapas it is just small plate eating. Fabulous ravioli (yeah, I know but trust me and try it before you roll your eyes). Ris de veaux. Scallops in a fantastic sauce. A duck dish with spicy spring rolls and slices of breast cooked pink. Lovely friendly staff. A HUGE 70s biased LP record collection which they play on a period turntable. Interesting art....
