Just back from a delicious lunch. The food was a surprise and excellent. My starter was a goats cheese dish with a mixed salad. My main course was a mixed grill. All I recognised on the dish were potatoes and carrots. The grill consisted of various meats all cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Delicious. My pudding was I thought to be cheese and jam. But what turned up was a Greek styled yoghurt and jam. Very good. Service was cheerful and swift. Overall I would rate this lunch at 9/10

Strange experience, with great atmosphere and unpleasant food. Potatoes were very undercooked and almost inedible. Aubergine and carrots were overcooked and almost liquid. Salad looked good but tasted bad: raw beetroot, raw carrot. Duck breast was fine but not properly deveined. Pate was fine but without any compote was dry. Fish tart starter was unpleasant and dry. Chicken leg was fine. Chocolate mousse was good

We went on one of their sun boats in the morning (great fun and highly recommend if you don’t mind putt-putting slowly down the Canal du Midi) and stopped for lunch on our return. A really special place on the bank of the river with the resident duck and geese to keep you company. Pretty big portions of food for a reasonable price. Staff are super down to earth and friendly too. Loved it!

Give this place a miss! Even though they advertise themselves as "restaurant - bar - glacier" they expect you to order the menu and not just drinks and ice cream (so not the "bar"and "glacier" part)... The waitress was extremely unfriendly when we "only" ordered ice cream and wine for 30 € for the two of us. She made some stupid remarks in a very unfriendly tone. After ordering they decided to ignore us completely.

We had to wait 35 minutes for our drinks and ice cream to arrive. Our order also didn't look especially appealing when we finally received it.

The location was neither full when we arrived, while we were there, nor when we left. It is not plausible why guests are treated like this. Wine and ice cream are probably the easiest way to make money and it's not as if we didn't spend any here.

A nice looking restaurant is worth nothing when service is non existent and the staff is completely ignorant and...
