Dinner was a immense pleasure in this restaurant. This is a gem we discovered during a weekend in Nice. We wanted to have local dishes. Our hotel is about 4 minutes away we didn't want to go very far by foot either. After some research we called for reservations. We had someone extremely courteous and friendly on the phone. We were greeted by lovely young lady who showed us to our table. We were shown the menu and explained the local dishes. We decided to share the platter which had a little of everything they offered for starters. Highly recommended, I loved everything on this platter especially the one with a local vegetables"blettes." For main dish we had the daube with raviolis which was excellent and the poche de veau which was delicious and never eaten anywhere else. Throughout our meal, the restaurant manager cum server was very attentive and checked with us if everything was good. I skipped dessert as I just couldn't tuck in any further my partner had a mascarpone with chestnut cream which wax delicious. We were offered limoncello on the house. Throughout dinner we had a great conversation with our host on the local dishes and about Nice. Highly recommended. I will definitely return if I visit Nice again. This is an awesome dining...

When asked, the explanation was that the serveuse didn’t understand English and refused to change the bill but offered a dessert to go instead.
