Restaurant Les Pierres Longues — Restaurant in Nice

Whilst driving through Monaco/ Nice area we didn’t want to go too far off the toll road . We were looking for a restaurant that wasn’t amongst all the rip off ritzy restaurants and this was a gem! Lovely location with wonderful large outdoor patio. The owner Gregory was particularly nice! We really enjoyed our time with him and hearing about how the house and courtyard was owned by his grandfather and a place he played as a child. The food was fresh and delicious! My salad was particularly good! We asked for Irish coffee and they made them for us even though not normally a drink menu item. All in all I give this lovely restaurant a five...

A tale of two days: We were there on Friday, 21.06 and Saturday 22.06. On Friday, the food was amazing, the servers absolutely friendly, even though only 1 of the 3 spoke English. We went there again the next day: completely opposite! There were two other servers than on Friday: the one who served us was just cold and unfriendly. We were driving from Nice to Monaco and came across this gem of a restaurant. Despite there being a wedding lunch at the time of our visit we were able to sit on the terrace with no issues.
