Le Patio d'Arçais — Restaurant in Niort

An excellent meal on each of 4 occasions we have eaten there. Everything is freshly cooked and of good quality.The staff is friendly and the chef is happy to cater for any special requirements if notified in advance. The terrace is shady in the summer but the dining room can be a little noisy as there are few decorations and furnishings to soften the room. Since writinmg this about our visits last year (2014) we went again last night ( March 2015) and found the same excellence (Save a cold bottle of wine ... which was taken and aired) and there had been a change in the decor of the dinig room which had much improved and softened...

The restaurant was almost full. It is a clean modern looking restaurant. I ordered fish for mains, and Linda a steak. When the meal arrived, we swapped as Linda decided the steak was too rare, and I was drooling at the thickness of the steak and the way it had been grilled..
