La Gaudinette devient Le Polisson — Restaurant in Nyons

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience here. They were very busy, but my wife was served uncooked fish, completely raw inside. I ate while trying to get their attention to tell them – impossible as they came nowhere near us. At no point did staff check how our food was. After 30 minutes of this we decided to just leave, I went to the bar to pay. They insisted I had to pay the full price (not cheap!) for an inedible meal. In fact they insisted that it was my fault I had not left our table in the middle of my meal to find their management and complain. We would maybe forgive a one-off uncooked plate of food, but the service that followed and having to pay the full cost for it made this a really disappointing experience. The owner lady who was serving and her waitress were both very rude to my parents and I. They didn’t want to answer questions about their own menu, ignored and left when asked anything, showed us clearly that they were bothered to serve their own clients because they’re tourists, complain even about them- though that’s obviously their first income - and made many comments with an inappropriate & disrespectful tone. I will never come back and warn people against that business. I’m french myself and, even with the cliche we can incarnate sometimes, this is unacceptable. On est venu prendre l'apéritif en couple à première vue endroit charmant. On s'installe et le premier contact avec la serveuse et fort froid (nonchalant). On demande la carte des boissons, cocktails, surpris ils en n'ont pas il faut rentrer et aller lire au dessus du bar... Les cocktails étaient très bons, un autre bémol, tout le monde étaient servit avec amuse bouche (olives) sauf nous. C'est des petits détails que les serveurs ne font peut être pas forcément attention mais nous clients ont le voit. Quelques points à revoir, mais c'est un café, restaurant qui reste...
