Auberge de Vienne — Restaurant in Orléans

For starters- the food, atmosphere, and service, were all top-flight.

I had the benefit of a local friend (since I speak no French worth mentioning) to translate- this is a French restaurant in France. Don't go in expecting English anywhere.

With that out of the way... a trip to this place will not be regretted. I had the Chicken Orleans, which was magnificent, and the dessert was delightful. The prices are more than reasonable for what you get, and if you want some advice... save some room for the cheese cart at the end. The selection of goat cheeses alone is worth the price...

Very nice place to taste French cuisine. The products are fresh and local. The waiters were very nice and smiling. One was specialised in wine and helped us to choose the best one. The atmosphere is nice as well. This is something different that is need to be tested. Better to book in advance as they have limiter places. Maybe some meals were too salty as we were all very thirsty after couple of hours the restaurant. Otherwise I totally recommend. During summer you can eat outside. The area is...

Quand on arrive, cadre d'une petite auberge donc un peu vieux mais ambiance sympathique. Par contre quand on arrive (on était 26 avec une réservation faite 1 mois en avance) pas de bonjour et un accueil froid.

On avait commandé le repas à l'avance donc pas de surprise pour le chef cuisinier. Mon oeuf cocotte n'était pas cocotte tellement il était cuit mais un oeuf dur. On avait aussi pris du vin... au final on a plutot eu le droit à une dégustation... un fond de verre et c'est tout. J'apprendrais par la suite qu'on a payé 5 bouteilles alors qu'on nous a servi 1 bouteille 1/2... Un peu l'arnaque quand même.

Pour le plat chaud de trop petite part de purée... En gros 3 bouchées avec 2 brochettes. Un peu plus de purée n'aurait pas couté plus cher et aurait permis d'en profiter pleinement.

Et pour nous faire partir, rien de mieux que de monter la musique pour rendre l'ambiance désagréable et dès que la première personne se lève ils ont coupé la musique... On devait déranger

Quand au dessert bon mais pas extra.

80€ par couple ca fait très cher par rapport à ce qu'on a pu avoir alors que le menu avait été choisi à l'avance... Je n'y...
