La Maison de la Pizza meung sur loire — Restaurant in Orléans

Ordered Pizza, Got Soup...

Arrived in person to place an order for 2 pizzas. Was politely told by 2 very nice ladies that it would take over an hour (despite the fact the place was empty)

Figured it must be good - so I waited.

What a mistake....

The pizza itself could have been great; good quality ingredients and nice dough.

Unfortunately, the pizza was left absolutely destroyed by a ridiculous amount of sauce and other juices.

It also came unsliced - leaving us to pull the ridiculous mess apart with our hands.

It could have been a fresh, crispy, cheesy, delicious pizza topped with fresh ingredients - instead it became a swamp of cheese and watery tomato and grease that was so extreme that it broke the pizza box - despite only being in my lap for a 3 minute drive - it was still able to split the box seam, and leak tomato and fat onto my jeans, shirt and jacket.

I never leave bad reviews - I know how hard food businesses work to stay afloat - but this was just awful. I wish I was exaggerating when I said this was quite literally...

Now this place is a little gem of a pizza restaurant, if ever you pas by the Hyper U in beaugency make sure you pick up a pizza from this place, the ingrediants are fresh and tasty, but what makes this pizza concession the best in the region is the pizza dough, Wow just wow, crunch, crispy, delicate, fresh, and with whatever topping you choose, they will all go together, friendly people, worth sitting down at the numberous chairs and benches for everyone.
