Café des Colonnes P.M.U — Restaurant in Périgueux

Une institution au cœur de Ribérac, ce café-brasserie-restaurant qui existe depuis 1832 a fait l'objet récemment d'une restauration "intelligente" qui a su conserver l'âme et la décoration du lieu tout en lui donnant une touche de "modernité" et d'ergonomie, il y a toujours la terrasse côté rue, la grande salle a été réagencée et semble plus grande et lumineuse grâce à la grande baie vitrée coulissante qui donne sur l'immense terrasse protégée à l'arrière, havre de calme ombragé l'été.

Le patron et le personnel sont des professionnels compétents et sincèrement sympathiques, les prix sont raisonnables et le cadre accueillant...sinon comment expliquer que l'endroit soit pris d'assaut par tant de monde le vendredi matin, jour de marché haut en couleur à Ribérac, aussi bien par les locaux que la clientèle de passage.

Des concerts l'été en terrasse, un endroit convivial ou passer un bon moment, c'est tout ce qu'on est en droit d'attendre de ce type d'établissement, à visiter et à revisiter sans hésiter.
