It may look like your typical cute French village restaurant, but La P'tite Factory is anything but! We stopped in on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff, assume the owners, and the incredible aroma of French cuisine. Initially there were only a few tables full but by the time we left (it was almost 9:00 pm) they were almost full.

We ordered starters which were a goats cheese salad and a soup but it was the main courses that blew us away. My wife had tuna, which was a thick piece and beautifully pink presented with small selection of wonderful coloured vegetables. I should point out that all the produce was organic and most grown by them. The owner advised that the tuna would be served pink so there were no surprises.

Mine was a piece of lamb which had been slow prepared over 12 hours and I have to say the best piece of lamb I had ever had. I am still salivating over the tastes of this dish three days later as I write this review. The lamb was served with the most tenderest of ratatouille which complimented the dish. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit which will probably be a year from now on our next vacation.

Don’t take our word for it — the food, ambience, and atmosphere were to die for. I reckon its worth booking just in case as it is in a beautiful medieval small village and clearly the locals like it too. If you read this and you are staying in "Constant" (English village) you must go here. As the card says Toute notre cuisine est faite maison (All our cuisine is home made) and English is spoken with a french accent. This place is perfect for small groups, families or a casual date night.

I would like to think that this review I have written which took a little while and care does them great service. We could not understand why it rated only 4.4 but...

This place is fantastic.

The stand-out dish was the special: fillet steak in foie gras sauce! It was one of the best things I've ever had... Truly, a masterpiece. Credit to the two wonderful chefs, who came out and spoke to guests after dinner service and were very friendly.

The other dishes we tried were the tuna tataki, the avocado salad (both of which are starters), as well as the Thai style prawn fried rice. I would recommend the tuna tataki over the avocado salad - really high quality fish with beautiful, delicate flavours. All of them were good, but that fillet steak is unmissable. I considered going back the next day to have it, it's that good.

Charming service in a wonderful setting. Beautiful...

A lovely local restaurant, not a vast amount to choose from, but I’d rather that than an extensive long menu. A really nice aperol spritz to start our evening. I had the mozzarella and tomato tapenade to start which was lovely, my partner had the smoked salmon. For the main I had the beef and rice, also very nice but I was most jealous of my partners main course, it was duck wrapped in something I think was like filo pastry or similar. Staff were nice, service very friendly. The setting was rustic and casual. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.
