Went for lunch, outside on the blackboard it said steak and chips, I said that’ll do, the English waitress said it’s a steak pie. Oh yes ok. I waited half an hour thinking I’m going to get something mouthwatering lovely and french…..what I got was an uncooked raw dough mess, straight from the supermarket. Chips looked and tasted like they were on reheat. €12.50 for that. I wasn’t asked if it was ok, or afterwards if I enjoyed it. They knew it was gross, and it wasn’t eaten. I had been entertained by English and French drinking up front, they were witty and funny, giving the place a great atmosphere. Another day I came and ordered the paté, hoping it would be French and homemade, no, a supermarket slice, not particularly nice but I could listen to the banter with these guys again. ( Two of my stars goes to them for making a good atmosphere 😀), and 1 for the awful menu. There were 3 French guys there waiting for their lunch to be defrosted and they looked like they were about to punch someone, they were mad angry. Then 3 burger and chips were delivered. Phew.
